2. Working Principle

The U-Tube Manometer works on the principle of hydrostatic balance. When pressure is applied to one side of the U-tube, the liquid column rises or falls, indicating the pressure difference. The reading is taken from the graduated scale provided.

3. Principle of Operation

  • The liquid in the U-shaped tube remains balanced under normal conditions.
